Heart of True Love

Voices from within shouted out loud:

"I am not worth it,

I am filthy and undeserving

Of the love and the life You offer."

These words I believed.

They crushed me, they broke me, they pulled me down.

But You took me in Your heart of true love

And showed me who I am to You.

I am Your beloved,

Loved with an everlasting love;

Your beautiful delight,

Whom You called to be Yours forever.

I am Your perfect masterpiece,

A sweet melody to Your ear,

Made for Your glory and honour.

Yes, I am made for You, my King.

Now, I have grasped how high, how deep,

And how wide Your love is for me,

As all Your precious children should.

Oh how amazing it is to know the truth!

It's exciting, it's so thrilling to walk this life with You, my King. 

Barricaded World

I've been trying to build my own world,
A barricaded world where no one can intrude.
The crowd is suffocating me and
I just want to be alone, away from all.
It's not like someone had done me any wrong
But for reasons I can barely explain,
I am drowned by the crowd.

In this barricaded world I'm trying to create,
My wish is that You will be there with me,
Just us two...no one else.
But I know that I am supposed to be the one in Your world.

This world I'm building, no matter what,
Will always be a messy, chaotic, and depressing one.
So, Jesus, could You please take me from my world and bring me into Yours?
That's the place I would rather be.

In Your Presence

If I were to fall, let me fall in love with You.

If I were to give my heart away, let me give it whole to You.

If I were to spend my lifetime, let me spend my forever with You.

For You are the only one who can satisfy and fill my empty heart.

You are the All-Consuming Fire who can burn my guilt, my fear, my insecurities, and my selfish desires that drive me away from You.

You restore the joy that has been stolen,

You revive my heart so desperate for life,

And You awaken it to burn for You.

I want to be where you are, Oh God.

For in Your presence,there is fullness of joy,

There is peace, and love everlasting.

In Your presence, I am cleansed, I am made whole,

Just the way You want me to be.

Let me dwell in Your heart and be reminded of my calling-

To love You, Oh Lord, my God, with all my heart, mind, soul and strength.

And may this love cause me to praise You with endless love songs from my heart

And glorify Your Name forever.
